We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of North Carolina’s communities through advocacy, collaboration, and support for North Carolina’s four LME/MCOs – Alliance Health, Partners Health Management, Trillium Health Resources, and Vaya Health – and the members, families, and providers we serve. The NCAPCHP works with state/county/local agencies and policymakers, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders to ensure access to high-quality, equitable care for individuals with complex needs.

Vaya Health and Partners Health Management Announce Merger

Operating under the name “Vaya Partners” beginning Oct. 1, 2026, the combined organization will serve more than 222,000 members across 47 counties while continuing to provide integrated, whole-person care for individuals with mental health, substance use, I/DD, and traumatic brain injury needs.

LME/MCOs Move Forward with State-Directed Medicaid Rate Reductions Effective November 1

Beginning November 1, 2025, North Carolina’s four LME/MCOs will implement the NCDHHS-directed rate reductions, while the NC Association of Public Community Health Plans continues to advocate for reversal of the cuts.
